Corrections, disputes, and removals
Ontario Hoarding Cleanup Directory is an independent guide to hoarding cleanup businesses across the province. Each listing pulls factual business details from public sources, while scores and review summaries come from analyzing Google reviews against a single, fixed rubric applied uniformly to every business. Your listing is free to include, and payment never affects your score or rank. This page explains how to correct information, challenge a score, request removal, or ask questions about how your entry was built. See scoring method for the full scoring rubric.
Fixing factual information
If a factual field on your listing is out of date (name, address, phone, website, opening hours, services), tell us the correct value and point us at a source we can check, such as your Google Business Profile or your own website. Once verified, the fix is applied and kept through later refreshes.
Disputing your score
Your score is calculated automatically from public Google reviews and is never hand-edited. A dispute is a claim that the input feeding that score is wrong: for example, your listing was matched to the wrong business, reviews were attributed to you incorrectly, or a summary misstates what reviewers actually wrote. When you dispute, we re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number or different scoring logic.
Requesting removal
Listings are removed if the business is permanently closed, a duplicate entry for an existing business, or outside the directory's scope. Listings in scope and accurately representing an operating business are not removed on request. We run a re-verification cycle every month that catches and removes closed businesses automatically. If your removal is approved, you will be told. If it is declined, you will receive the reason.
